About the Artist

One of Eleanor’s earliest memories is of holding her mother’s paintbrush. She remembers creating scenes in watercolor. She grew up in a family of full-hearted artists and musicians in Los Angeles. Life in color. In college, she studied film, always finding art wherever her attention was drawn.

As an adult she knew it was time to make painting her life’s work and went immediately to oils, which had always called to her.

Eleanor is happy to live in San Diego with her own sweet family and paints daily in her home studio.
