This painting started out with simple lines. After looking at it for months, I started adding rich color. I wanted the painting to provide warmth to the viewer so for inspiration, had a close friend in mind who often dresses in wonderful warm hues and who is warm herself. Thinking of those colors and that person made me happy.

I hope this painting gives off the warmth of a loved friend.
